Land Trust for Santa Barbara County
The Land Trust for Santa Barbara County works to protect important open space, wildlife habitat, farms and ranches from business development. The Land Trust has worked with the community since 1985 and has saved over 13,000 acres in Santa Barbara County, including areas such as the Arroyo Hondo Preserve, Sedgwick Reserve, Carpinteria Bluffs and the Coronado Butterfly Preserve.

The City of Santa Barbara has created a division to improve creek and water quality and restore natural creek systems through storm water and urban runoff pollution-reduction, creek restoration, and community education programs.

The only organization actively developing and maintaining a conservation collection of rare and endangered species in the Central Coast. The Gardens is a place of beauty and tranquility, of education, research and conservation, of history and stewardship. The Central Coast Center for Plant Conservation, established by SBBG as a part of the Center for Plant Conservation to conserve and preserve the vast biodiversity of Central Coast flora.

By creating a connection between nature and humanity, Ocean Futures Society inspires and educates people to act responsibly for the ocean’s protection.
Growing Solutions, Restoration Education Institute
Integrates education with hands-on watershed restoration on a local scale. Students, community members, and government agencies can work together to restore and clean up local watersheds.
